Alexa is dead, Iris confirms. Nora says they killed her. Iris and Barry created other powers when they brought her back, and those powers are drawn to Barry. She also says that she has no choice but to kill the other forces because they will kill everyone he has sworn to protect. Barry disagrees with this scenario, angering Nora, who says she will destroy them without him. Later, Cisco and Chester prove that Barry and Iris have indeed created new powers.
Barry comes up with a plan to stop Nora by destroying the new powers. He wants to go back in time and prevent their creation. The rest of the team tries to talk him out of it, reminding him that he might lose speed and it could destroy Nora in the process, but Barry insists. Iris says that he will have to do it alone.
Barry, Chester, and Cisco develop a plan to stop the destruction, but they don't have a solution to protect the timeline. Chester says that they would like to talk to Nash, and Barry realizes that they can talk to the Timeless Wells. He goes back in time to find it.
